Locations
Maggiore, the Italian partner of Alamo, are rpoud to offer 92 participating locations throughtout Italy at various easily accessible airport and downtown depots.

Driver Requirements
The minium age for drivers is 19 years. Certain vehicles or vehicle categories require a minium rental age of 25 years. Maxium age is 75 years. A "Young drivers" surcharge applies to all renters under 23 years. All drivers must carry an original and valid drivers licence (licence must have been held for at least 1 year) and a valid passport. Drivers must be in possesion of a valid major credit card (UK bank / debit cards not accepted). For particular groups of vehicles the agency may require two credit cards.

Additional Drivers
All additional drivers should be requested at the time of booking your car. Surcharge corresponding to the rental length: will be added as applicable. All drivers are subject to the rental conditions above.

Length of Rental
The minium length of rental is 3 days. A surcharge applies for out of hours pick up and drop off - if an employee is needed. Pick up will be at an airport agency, flight details must be supplied, request through Reservations.

Fuel
The vehicle is supplied with a full tank and needs to be full on return or else a surcharge for missing pertrol and a refuelling charge will apply.

Driving Restrictions
Vehicles are allowed to cross the Italian borders and on into the following countires: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Luxemburg, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, UK, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Vehicles must be used with diligent attention and respecting the proper usage and characteristics of the vehicle and with respect to the law.

One-Ways
•One-way rentals must be requested at the time of booking.
•A 3 day minium length of rental is required for all one ways.
•Domestic one-way rentals are permitted on the Italian Mainland, Sicily, Sardinia or from the Italian Mainland to Sicily and vice versa. Supplements apply.
•International One-ways are permitted for certain vehicles only.

Seat Belts
Seat belts are compulsory for front and rear seat occupants, if fited.

Roadside Assistance
Wherever you drive in Italy and abroad, in the event of an on-the-road mishap, help is just a toll free call away. With "Maggiore Assistenza Stradale" service, they will help or answer any questions as needed. Maggiore is there to help you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so any problems will be dealt with fast and efficiently.

Included in your Car Hire
Liability Insurance
For the peace of mind and financial protection of you and all other authorised drivers, our rental package includes up to €1 million liabilty coverage. This cover protects you against third party injury/death and property damage.

Theft Protection
TP reduces your financial liabilty in the event of the vehicle's theft or fire. In all cases of total or partical theft you must contact local police and give a copy of the police report to Maggiores nearest location.

Taxes
Local taxes, Vehicle Licensing Fees and VAT (20%).

Collision Damage Waiver
CDW reduces your financial liability in the event of danage to all part or part of the vehicle to the deductible amount.

Not Included in your Car Hire
Deposit
A deposit will be required to cover extras, which have not been prepaid. Amajor credit card is required for each rental (in the name of one of the drivers) and will be debited for any incidental charges made during the rental period for particular groups of vehicles, the agency may require two credit cards.

Additional Equipment
Should you require child seats (subject to availability) these maybe requested at the time of booking and any additional charges and taxes will be passed on to you and paid locally.

Taxes
Should you purchase any additional items locally the standard taxes will be applied.
