Amtrak© offers an extensive network of rail services covering
over 500 destinations throughout North America. Travelling
by train is easy, affordable and relaxing. It is a great way to
capitalise on your holiday and gives you access to some of
the most wonderful parts of America. You can literally go
from East to West in the comfort of an Amtrak train that
offers excellent services and facilities coupled with
wonderful scenery en route.
Rail Passes
Amtrak rail passes offer 15 or 30 days of travel in
coach class seating, with unlimited stopovers, so that
you can explore at your own pace. Passes are valid
from the first day of use for the duration of the pass.
Should you wish to pre-book a seat on a particular
routing we will be more than happy to assist.
This pass is not available to American or Canadian
passport holders.
National Rail Pass
Travel anywhere that Amtrak tracks take you to –
Take the well-travelled route from Chicago to
Los Angeles or San Francisco or go coast to coast
from the Sunshine State of Florida to the Golden
State, the choice is endless.
Northeast Rail Pass
See some of the key cities of America’s east. Visit the
country’s capital Washington before heading to the
vibrant and cosmopolitan city of New York. Travel on
to Boston in New England, the cradle of American
independence and a city where the pace of life is
much slower and more relaxed.
East Rail Pass
Explore all areas that are offered on the Northeast
Rail Pass and much more. Travel into the Deep South,
visiting Atlanta, Memphis and New Orleans among
others. Continue down to Florida; visit Orlando and
the world of Disney® or head further south to Miami
to soak up the sun.
West Rail Pass
Travel the expansive territory that stretches from
Chicago down to New Orleans and across the plains,
deserts and mountains to the Pacific Coast.

Seating and Sleeping Accommodation
Amtrak offer a wide variety of quality seating and sleeping
accommodation.
Seating Coach Class
One of the most economical yet comfortable ways to travel;
A large reclining seat, fold down tray table, overhead
reading lights and an overhead rack for your luggage.
There are also toilets within the car and a picture window
for you to enjoy the scenery. On board there is plenty of
room to walk around and stretch out.
Seating Business Class
Business Class offers reserved, deluxe seating on short to
medium distance trips.
Sleeping Accommodation
Sleeping cars are a smart choice for long-distance
passengers travelling overnight. Meals, lodging and
transportation are included. An attendant is also available to
assist you. Service also includes fresh towels and bed linens.
Roomette – By day it offers two seats with a picture
window and by night the seating converts to a lower and
upper berth. Restrooms and a shower are nearby.
Bedrooms – The ultimate in sleeping car travel. By day you
are provided with a comfortable, cushy sofa and armchair
with a great view of the scenery. You can stretch out, relax
or even take a nap. At night they convert to a wide lower
and upper berth. You also have a sink, vanity, toilet and
enclosed shower right in the room
Canada Rail Travel

Important Information
